Description
Digital orthophotos (ATKIS-DOP) are produced from aerial images of the country’s flyings. Thereby, the perspective distortions of the aerial images are eliminated by reformation and a picture with parallel projection is created, which has a uniform scale across the entire image area. In orthophotos it is possible to measure distances and surfaces.
