Territorial and administrative organisation of the SR
Description
Administrative borders are one of the thematic categories of ZBGIS® — a geographical database containing information on location elements from the whole territory of the Slovak Republic. It is the basic level of the territorial and administrative arrangement, with a class of territorial and technical units (borders of cadastral territories) added to this product. Territorial and administrative layout data are generated from the approved boundaries of cadastral territories from the source database created from the vector cadastral map (VKM). Based on the current list of municipalities, parts of municipalities and military districts, administrative borders — municipality, district, county, are semi-automatically assembled.
