Generalised population density 2011
Description
The data was produced by generalising the grid data of the Urban Structure Monitoring System (YKR). In the YKR grid data, the whole of Finland is divided into 250x250 metre grids, to which are attached various statistical data on the area of the grids, such as the population and the number of jobs. The generalised population is expressed in population density (population per hectare).
