Transport - Contributions to Municipalities for the application of special tariffs

The Regional Executive establishes criteria and methods for allocating resources for the application of special cards, pursuant to the LL.RR. 10/95 (repealed) and 37/98 et seq.mm.ii, in favour of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility, as well as socially weak groups, through the allocation of special contributions to municipalities.
For this purpose, the Region allocates part of the Regional Transport Fund (FRT) and specifically resources equal to 1% until 2012 and 2% from 2013.
The breakdown, made according to the data resulting from the last census, is 70% proportional to the residents of each municipality and 30% inversely proportional to the density of the population of the municipalities themselves.
