Partial Soil Monitoring System
Description
Soil monitoring should record the change in selected soil characteristics (morphological and basic analytical characteristics of the soil). The monitoring network consists of 318 sites. Important soil properties and indicators in relation to potential threats to the soil (soil contamination, decrease in organic matter content and nutrient access, soil compaction, soil erosion) are monitored. Soil monitoring consists of three basic subsystems: a core network of monitoring sites (agricultural, forest land, land above the upper limit of the forest), 2 key monitoring sites, 3 field surveys of contamination.
