Waste incineration in Austria
Description
This study describes Austrian grate furnaces (Flötzersteig, Spittelau, Dürnrohr, Arnoldstein – KRV, Wels I and Wels II), fluidised bed furnaces (Niklasdorf, Lenzing, Arnoldstein ABRG and Simmering WSO 1–3 and WSO 4) and rotary kilns (Simmering rotary kilns 1 and 2, Arnoldstein ABRG). In addition, waste incineration plants that are not yet in operation (Pfaffenau, Zistersdorf, Dürnrohr Line 3, Frohnleiten, Heiligenkreuz and Linz) are presented.
