Buildings – Combined Presentation Today (3D)

Description

This dataset contains the current 3D models of the buildings of the city of Zurich. It is a combination of the two original datasets & #x27;3D roof model LoD2 ' and & #x27.3D block model LoD1 & #x27. Part of this dataset are buildings, which in the official survey the status quot; or “created”; have it. Thus, it is the current stock without projected buildings. In order to achieve a better comprehensibility of the record, some attributes have been renamed, enriched or removed compared to the original records. Floor plan and facade of the 3D models are based on the building floor plans of the official survey. The roof structures have been photogrammetrically determined on the basis of aerial images. Newer buildings, of which no detailed 3D roof models are yet available, are simplified as block models. **Purpose**: A 3D city model provides the basis for the following important areas of application: — Noise cadastre — Visibility analyses — Shadow calculations — Visualisations of major construction and infrastructure projects — Urban planning — Urban planning considerations — Driving simulators — Operational support Blue light organisations — Location marketing — Tourism — Solar energy potential calculations —This dataset contains the current 3D models of the buildings of the city of Zurich.
