Soil sensitivity maps based on 1-scale soil estimation : 5.000
Description
The soil sensitivity maps based on the soil estimation were prepared according to the Saxon soil assessment tool as of 05/2022. For the first time, all 754,000 soil estimation areas of the Free State of Saxony used for the assessment were subjected to a soil functional assessment. The evaluations on a scale of 1: 5,000 are based on the digitised soil estimation areas as of 12/2022. New levels of knowledge on soil estimation, e.g. by means of re-evaluations, are gradually incorporated into the assessments of soil functions. This information is published with updates. The ground sensitivity maps contain four layers. These are: Erosion by water, sensitivity to drainage, sensitivity to irrigation and sensitivity to substance inputs.
