RPI — Spatial Information Register
Description
The main objective of the RPI is to ensure a consistent and data-consistent source of metadata (descriptive information) on spatial data sets and services. The IS has been built as the State’s basic register for spatial data and services, currently providing a web application for creating, managing and searching metadata as well as a national search service (open application program interface) through which content for machine processing is made available for third party needs (e.g. National Geoportal, EU INSPIRE Geoportal).
ATTENTION: Individual spatial datasets contained in RPI will not be described on data.gov.sk to eliminate duplication.
