FVA deciduous pine forest map

Description

The deciduous/coniferous forest map classifies the forest into coniferous, mixed and deciduous forests. Knowledge of tree species and forest types is important, for example, for the selection of new forest protection areas. Particularly in times of climate change, a great dynamic is taking place here as well. The FVA deciduous pine forest map was created from Sentinel-2 satellite data from 2016 and 2017.
