Description
Following the noise action plan, a Noise bottleneck list has been drawn up. For the numbered roads with more than 3 million vehicle passages per year, this list included the most noisy road sections. For each of the bottlenecks that fall under the management of AWV, it is determined which noise mitigating measures are possible and most efficient. The implementation of the noise mitigating measures can be part of a larger project such as a total renovation of the road segment concerned so that some bottlenecks can have a longer turnaround time. There are some bottlenecks that relate to a road that is no longer under the management of AWV. These bottlenecks are not further addressed by AWV.
