JHS 197 EUREF-FIN coordinate systems, associated conversions and map leaf distribution
Description
This public administration recommendation defines the coordinate systems based on EUREF-FIN data, the coordinate versions between them and the recommended coordinate conversions between EUREF-FIN and the mapping system (KKJ). This Recommendation also defines map projections, level coordinate systems and map magazine distribution to be used with EUREF-FIN. The Recommendation provides tools for the deployment of ETRS-TM35FIN and ETRS-GKN level coordinate systems, together with related projection formulae and examples.
This recommendation replaces the JHS 154 ETRS89 map projection, level coordinates and map leaf distribution recommendation. The recommendation is written in the format of the technical specification described in the JHS 136 Recommendation. The requirements are separated from the rest of the text and the form of the requirements is shown in bold. The requirements set out in this JHS Recommendation are not binding on public administration organisations. However, the users of the recommendation should take into account, among other things, the legislation related to the INSPIRE Directive. The Recommendation provides the tools for completing the INSPIRE regulations for coordinate reference systems.
