Digital Orthophotos Lower and Outer Elbe (DOP025) WSA Hamburg 2006
Description
Digital orthophotos (DOP) are high-resolution, distortion-free images of the Earth's surface. Digital orthophotos are true to scale and can thus be directly compared with maps of the same scale or digitally combined with specialist data, for example road planning. The DOP data are available in the GeoTIFF data format and are georeferenced in the sheet section of the German Basic Map 1:5,000. They have a standard tile size of 2 km x 2 km. The geometric accuracy is +/- 0.25 m. The data volume of the DOP (TIFF uncompressed) is about 185 MB per raster file.
