Ramsar areas of the state of Brandenburg
Description
The data base “RAMSAR Territories of the State of Brandenburg” comprises three areas in the State of Brandenburg: Lower Havel/Gülper Lake; Lower or at Schwedt; Pond area Peitz. More than 95 % of these areas are also part of Brandenburg’s European Bird Conservation Areas (SPAs). A Ramsar Data Sheet exists so far only for the lowlands of the Lower Havel/Gülper See (updated in 2002).
