Low bog landscapes - Contribution of the ÖPUL 2000 to their nature-friendly land use using the example of Lauteracher Ried
Description
The aim of the Austrian agri-environmental programme ÖPUL 2000 is, among other things, the conservation of endangered, particularly valuable agricultural landscapes, as well as the protection and improvement of natural resources such as biodiversity. Low bog landscapes, which can still be found in elatively large remaining stands in the Rhine Valley in Vorarlberg, are considered to be a particularly valuable habitat.
