Water depths for load case HQmedium / HQ100 2. cycle

Description

As part of the Flood Risk Management Directive (HWRM Directive) 2. Cycle 2016 - 2021 modelling of water levels was carried out for 3 scenarios HQhaeufig (frequent/high), HQ100 (medium/medium), HQextrem (rare/low).The water depths shown can be divided into four areas.1) Hydraulically calculated water depths in risk areas.2) Hydraulically calculated water depths outside risk areas (informal representation).3) Protected areas behind flood protection systems with a rated water level higher than the load case shown.4) Protected areas behind flood protection systems with a rated water level lower than the load case shown. The protected areas have not been calculated hydraulically, but have been roughly determined for orientation purposes. These data are also available in the INSPIRE data model ‘Annex 3: Areas with Natural Risks’. The provision takes place via the Federal Institute for Hydrology (BfG) via display and download service, whose URLs are specified in the transfer options.
