Coastline maps: Location RijksStrandpalen line along the Dutch Coast (2012)
Description
Location of the RijksStrandPalen line along the Dutch coast. As part of the JARKUS programme, height and depth measurements are carried out perpendicular to the RijksStrandpalenlijn (the line that connects the RijksStrandPalen). These measurements serve as input for, among other things, research and testing of baseline position. The RijksStrandPalen line forms the 0 point of the measurements (landward is negative). This layer is used for display in the Coastline maps books.
