Wuppertal ATOM Feed Marking structures on Wuppertal cycle paths
Description
The ATOM Feed Download Service for the striking buildings on Wuppertal cycling trails provides a dataset for download, which contains the 15 striking buildings (as of 12/2020) along the course of municipal cycle paths of the city of Wuppertal. These are only bridges and tunnels, over or through which the cycle paths are run. The vast majority of the striking buildings concern the Sambat Race and the Nordbahn route, two cycle paths built on former railway lines with high recreational and adventure value. The structures are represented geometrically by the linear section of the associated cycle path that runs over or through the structure. The data set provided is therefore to be understood as supplementing the data set “Radrouten Wuppertal”, in which the complete cycle paths, represented by the central axes of the associated roads and paths, are proven. The dataset was completed for the first time in spring 2015 and has since been continued in the event of changes in the area of striking structures. The ESRI shape files, KML and GeoJSON files that the download service accesses as open data under the CC BY 4.0 license are updated weekly in an automated process.
