Modeling data of average summer heat stress

Description

Modeling data on the average number of hours of heat stress per year (average of 2019-2022). Heat stress This is represented by the Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI) and 26°C UTCI is used as a limit value. The UTCI combines data of air temperature, humidity, wind speed and radiation to a value of the "perceived" Temperature. All variables of UTCI were calculated with the help of AI at different spatial resolutions and validated against a measuring network. More information about the models and data at https://doi.org/10.5194/gmd-17-1667-2024. The calculation of the data took place in 2024 - no update is planned. The data is OpenData - Attribution: "Professorship of Meteorology, University of Freiburg".
