Description
The data series ‘Protected Areas Aachen’ summarises the data sets relevant for the City of Aachen Inspire from Annex I to the Inspire Directive. The individual records are the following: 1) ‘Baudenkmäler Aachen’, 2) ‘Bodendenkmäler Aachen’ and 3) ‘Rechtsverbindliche Denkmalbereichssatzungen Aachen’. This includes 1) the approximately 4000 monuments which are recorded in the list of monuments Part A, 2) the 45 ground monuments from the list of monuments Part B and 3) the three monument areas on the territory of the city of Aachen, which in turn belong to the list of monuments Part D. All associated datasets are published under an Open Data license (CC BY-ND 4.0). In the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, there is a statutory publication obligation for the five data sets in accordance with the provisions of the INSPIRE Directive and the Geodata Access Act of North Rhine-Westphalia. The data fall under the topic of "protected areas" from Annex I of the INSPIRE Directive.
