Description
It currently contains more than 37,000 specific elements with associated toponymy and classified into administrative divisions, nuclei, roads, streets, equipment, urbanizations, places, farmhouses, fountains and springs, etc.
They stand out for their number and territorial coverage those corresponding to the street (more than 15,000 street names) and the municipal facilities (more than 4,800) of all the nuclei of the 95 municipalities with less than 50,000 inhabitants.
They come from various sources and have been formed by aggregation of those of the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA), those existing in the Topographic Map of Andalusia at a scale of 1:10,000, those from the municipalities and those from the databases of the Survey of Infrastructure and Local Equipment (EIEL) that is updated annually by this Provincial Council with the collaboration of the municipalities affected.
They are georefenced in EPSG 25830 (ETRS89) with the possibility of visualization in the old ED50 system and in WGS84 (long-lat) at the user's will.
