Nature conservation evaluation of alpine management in the Gesäuse National Park: Evaluation of grazing areas on the basis of indicator groups running beetles and bedbugs
Description
This report contains the results of the mapping of beetles and bedbugs in selected alpine areas and special locations in the Gesäuse National Park.
The runner beetle’s part takes into account 12 areas on the Sulzkar, Haselkar, Scheuchegg and Hüpflingeram, whereas heteropterological processing is limited to the last three alpine pastures. The corresponding results for the Sulzkaralm can be found separately in Frieß & derbuch (2005).
Against the background of national park-friendly alpine management, the aim of the studies is to carry out an inventory and conservation assessment of the selected habitat types from an animal-ecological point of view. The introductory general chapters were largely taken from the Ecoteam (2005).
