Elevation in the INSPIRE data model (image-based digital surface model)
Description
The image-based digital surface model (bDOM) describes the earth’s surface with all natural (e.g. vegetation) and artificial objects (e.g. buildings). The bDOM is available in the form of a uniform grid with a grid width of one metre in blade section 2 km x 2 km. The height data is provided by image data in TIFF format. In associated GML files, they are described by attributes of the INSPIRE data model “height”.
