public transport quality class
Description
The public transport quality classes are an instrument to describe the quality of public transport development. The public transport quality class of a location results from the distance to a public transport stop and the offer (tact density) at that stop.
The calculation is based on the (now no longer valid) VSS standard SN 640290.
The methodology of the standard has been extended to take account of the specific circumstances in the canton of Solothurn.
The calculation takes into account topography and obstacles.
