Natura 2000 European Protected Areas Carinthia
Description
Natura 2000 – Areas protect endangered wild native plant and animal species and their natural habitats across borders. They are established in accordance with Directive 92/43/EEC (the Habitats Directive). Protected areas designated in accordance with Directive 79/409/EEC (the Birds Directive for short) are integrated.
