Coastal morphosedimentary units
Description
This layer represents the division of the coastline into morphosedimentary units in metropolis and four overseas territories (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guiana and Mayotte). These morphosedimentary units were defined as part of the project "Dynamics and Coastal Evolution: synthesis of the knowledge of the French coasts”. The morphosedimentary units are based on dividing the coastline into homogeneity of shape, nature and exposure of the coast.
