Hazard and Flood Risk Maps in the Guadalquivir River Basin District (Cycle 1)
Description
Flood hazard maps and flood risk maps for return periods of 10, 100 and 500 years in the Guadalquivir river basin district, year 2015 corresponding to the first planning cycle (2016-2021). Flood Hazard Maps include three scenarios: Low, Medium and High probability of flooding. The Flood Risk Maps show the adverse consequences of floods on the affected population, economic activities, environmental risk and areas of particular environmental relevance, taking into account information on protected areas for the abstraction of water intended for human consumption, bodies of water for recreational use and areas for the protection of habitats or species, which may be affected in the event of flooding.
