Escape doors and axes of noise-repellent structures along numbered roads
Description
Locations of the escape doors and axles located in the noise-resistant constructions along the numbered roads managed by AWV.An escape door or axle is used as a safety measure in noise barriers. On road sections with noise barriers, the traffic area is limited to the distance between the noise barriers. In case of calamities, road users are then "clamped" between these two borders. If it is necessary to flee the site of the calamity, this can in principle only be done in parallel with the noise barrier. This can lead to very unsafe situations.
