Generalised population density
Description
The generalised population density data was produced by calculating for each 250x250 m square the average number of inhabitants of all squares within a radius of one kilometre. The generalised population is expressed in population density (population per hectare). The data cover the years 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010.
