Forest areas in North Rhine-Westphalia during the Prussian Uraufnahme
Description
This dataset is based on the Prussian Survey (1830-1865) and shows the wooded areas of the present state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) in the mapping period 1836-1850. The mapping took place in 1836-42 in the then province of Westphalia and 1843-50 in the Rhine province on a scale of 1:25,000.
