Elementary sections of water body watercourses — Métropole — Version State of the Places 2019
Description
The elemental section of the water body allows two objectives to be met. First, to detail the composition of the body of watercourses in elementary sections located on the surface or underground (in the same way as the BDCarthage). The geometry of the Surface Water Mass/Rivières theme is then the aggregation of the elementary sections that make up it.
It also ensures the continuity of the water body network by creating fictitious sections across water bodies, coastal or transitional bodies, but also by enabling the connection of water bodies through tributaries present in the BDCarthage hydrographic network but not identified as part of a body of water under the rules for the establishment of the water body benchmark.
In the event that this section corresponds to an elementary section present in the BDCarthage, this element will therefore inherit characteristics of the elementary hydrographic section in question.
