Flood-prone areas 2017 - (Water test), correction 13/07/2017
Description
As part of the water test, a fourth version of the map has been created that shows the flood-prone areas up to parcel level for the entire Flemish Region. The map contains the effectively flood-prone areas (dark blue layer) and the potentially flood-prone areas (light blue layer). In this new version, the effectively flood-prone areas were processed with information from new and updated modelled floodplains, in addition to the other local floods between 2006 and now.On 1 July 2017, an amendment to the implementing decree on the water test entered into force. The amendments to the Decree adopted by the Flemish Government on 15 May 2017 should ensure this.Unlike the previous versions, the 2017 version is a vector file
