Water productivity of main crops in Cyprus
Description
These data refer to primary data from research from the Agricultural Research Institute, and relate to the total and specific water productivity of main crops in Cyprus. Data shall be provided per crop for:
(a) expected value, (b) average value, (c) gross annuity, (d) water needs, (e) economic productivity of water) natural water productivity.
Notes: 1. Source: NORM input-output data for the main crop and livestock enterprises in Cyprus. Agricultural Economics Rreport 46. 2007 (Annexe: May 2011) 2. The column on water needs was taken from the calculation of the Aquatic Needs for Crops carried out by the Land Improvement Branch of the IEA in 2014.3. Conversion of bundles into tonnes: Celery (600 g), Kremberries (120 g), Spanaki (220 g), Maruli (250 g), radishes (200 g).4. Gross income does not include subsidies.
