Description
Exploratory survey around spoil disposal site due west of Swanage Bay, in anticipation of increased usage. Area approx 7.5 x 3.5 km. Multibeam survey in 5 corridors, each ~400m wide. Ground truthing at 6 stations by video (drop-camera). Survey area polygonised into 7 acoustically distinct areas, based on interpretation of multibeam backscatter and bathymetry. Habitat/biotope classification not attempted.
