Description
The water network is based on the Digital Terrain Model (basic DLM) of the State Office for Geoinformation and Surveying of Lower Saxony (LGLN) with the date of actuality indicated at the water sections. For the modelling of the water network, the data output product "GEW01" was used.GEW01 - The spatial object type group with the designation "waters" and the identifier "44000" comprises the areas covered with water. Only the spatial object type AX_StehendesGewaesser (44006) (Stillwaters) is used for the modelling.In combination with the carbon-rich sites (BHK50 and additional bog biotopes), the data set provides information on which stillwaters are located on or near organic sites. This location information is important for the assessment, development goals and development of measures for the protected assets of nature and landscape.
