Geospatial parcel 2023

Description

The agricultural parcels are annual data containing the agricultural parcels included in the annual aid applications. A parcel shall mean a continuous area within a single base parcel in which a single plant species, a mixture of several plant species, or set aside or under special use is grown. One base parcel may have one or more agricultural parcels. A parcel may belong to only one base parcel. The boundaries of the agricultural parcels and, at the same time, their areas may vary from year to year within the base parcel. The objective of the definition of high-value datasets (EU) 2023/138 has been to ensure the re-use of public data with the highest societal potential.
