Inspire Management Areas Integrative Monitoring of Large Protected Areas
Description
The INSPIRE Presentation Service Management Areas Integrative Monitoring of the Large Protected Areas provides the Monitoring Database for Integrative Monitoring of the Large Protected Areas in accordance with INSPIRE Directive Annex III. The monitoring database allows nationwide monitoring, which takes into account and combines ecological, economic, social and socio-cultural parameters (42 indicators). Monitoring is currently being carried out in 13 national parks and 14 biosphere reserves. The aim is to ensure the quality of the German protected area system in the long term, to fulfil international and national reporting obligations and to create a uniform overview of the development of the unique habitats of the national natural landscapes. The large protected areas Röhn and Elbe were divided at the federal borders.
