Description
Areas susceptible to pollution by nitrates from agricultural activities in accordance with Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources ("Nitrates Directive"). They are monitored by underground and surface sampling stations, and information is reported to the European Commission every four years.
This version of the vulnerable zones corresponds to the version set out in the monitoring report for Directive 91/676/EEC for the four-year period 2016-2019.
