Moor

Description

The moor cadastre is not an official list, even if this impression may arise. In former independent Baden, DGK5 (German base map 1:5.000) and in former independent Württemberg partly the cadastral map 1:2.500 is the mapping basis for the areas of the moors, the covered moors and partly of moors. For Upper Swabia, the moor map in scale 1:50.000 was used as a digitalisation basis. In addition to the bog surfaces, the descriptions of the drill profiles drawn during the exploration are recorded in a database. Drilling profiles are recorded with right/high value and, if necessary, can be integrated into map representations. These record the sequence of layers from the surface to the mineral subsoil. The layers are indicated according to storage density, degree of decomposition, width, vegetation content, granulation of mineral material and type of mudden.
