Soil function assessment based on the 1 scale soil map : 50.000

Description

The soil function maps were prepared in accordance with the Saxon soil assessment instrument as of 05/2022. For the first time, all 1,200 guide profiles used for the evaluation of the soil map 1 : 50,000 (BK50) were subjected to laboratory testing. The ground map 1 : 50,000 is based on the 54 individual pages of the Free State of Saxony. New levels of knowledge on soil and soil protection are successively incorporated into the assessments of soil functions. This information is published with updates.
