Activation reason:
Several wildfires are affecting the border region of Saxon Switzerland near the Czech Republic since 25/07/2022. Currently there four larger forest fires ongoing in the district of Saxon-Switzerland/ Eastern Erzgebirge. Due to the windy conditions the fires are expected to spread quickly and additionally the mountainous area impedes access for the ground firefighting units.
