Technical plan rough foot chicken management in the Gesäuse National Park
Description
In the fields of habitat design, visitor guidance, wildlife management & regulation, infrastructure and communication, the Roughfoot Chicken Management program identifies various points of discussion and formulates targets for the habitat of porridge, birch chicken, hazel chicken and snow chicken in the national park area. The previous definitions in management are examined and the development of species since the creation of the national park is presented. In the derivation of measures, all departments of the National Park were involved and expert opinions were obtained. If relevant points emerged from the discussion, measures were formulated and the responsibilities within the National Park Gesäuse GmbH were defined. This provides the basis for protecting roughfoot chickens for the next 15 years.
