WMS LGRB-BW 2D seismic: 2D seismic profile lines
Description
For the public provision in the context of the Geology Data Act (GeolDG), the 2D seismic measurements available at the LGRB for Baden-Württemberg were prepared and the line geometry was provided as WMS or WFS service according to current knowledge. The use of the data is in the scale range for overview maps of approx. 1: 1,000 to approx. 1: 1.500.000 is useful.
The topic shows the line geometry of the 2D seismic measurements according to current knowledge. The objective of the measurements is the exploration of underground deposits (mainly natural gas or petroleum) by means of structural detection.
The map shows an area limited to the territory of Baden-Württemberg. In the case of seismic lines, which extend in proportion to more than 50 % beyond the state border of Baden-Württemberg, the corresponding adjacent (Federal) country must be assigned to the respective state geological service.
