Decker's set of cards 1 : 50 000
Description
Decker's map is the beginning of the state survey in the Prussian General Staff. From 1816 to 1821, large areas, including the former province of Brandenburg, were built on a scale of 1: 25,000 added. The resulting so-called square miles sheets have a circumference of 667 sheets. Some of these sections were reduced to scale 1: 50,000 copies under the direction of Carl von Decker. The area around Berlin has been published in 9 map sheets under the name "Umgegend von Berlin". These originals from the holdings of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Prussian Cultural Heritage - have been reproduced by the LGB and are therefore available to everyone as facsimile prints. The total extent extends from Kremmen, Oranienburg and Biesenthal in the north to Mittenwalde and Storkow in the south and from Nauen and Ketzin in the west to Strausberg in the east.
A single sheet is offered at the price of 12 euros, the set of all 9 cards at the price of 81 euros.
