Description
The presentation service presents information on geology in the Free State of Saxony. It represents the geological solid and loose rock units in scale 1: 25,000 divided into quaternary and prequarter. The map service provided is an excerpt from the overall map. The INSPIRE-compliant implementation of the further map areas is currently in progress. Incomplete data on stratigraphy and/or petrography of individual surfaces are gradually completed. A uniform grey signature marks the incompletely attributed features. The map service is usable on a scale smaller than 1: 10,000 as well as in various attribute representations. The map work is one of 7 geological maps, which is provided for the territory of the Free State of Saxony in their own map services INSPIRE-compliant.
