Priority works for the restoration of ecological continuity of the Loire Bretagne Basin in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Description
The programme to prioritise actions to restore ecological continuity in the Loire-Bretagne basin is the result of the implementation of Action 1 of the Action Plan for the calming of ecological continuity (PAPARCE).
Action 1 aimed to prioritise at basin level actions to restore ecological continuity in favour of the good status of rivers and the recovery of biodiversity.
This prioritisation is a focus of administrative, financial and control resources on works with the highest ecological challenges. It does not subtract from regulatory obligations that apply to all streams in List 2.
The Loire-Bretagne priority programme was drawn up by the MISENs, with regional steering, involving all relevant stakeholders. It was then presented to the basin authorities: Commission on Natural Environments, Planning Committee and Basin Committee, which delivered a favourable opinion on this programme.
In total, it counts 1064 works on the Loire Brittany Basin of which 208 in Réion Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
