Guideline 2009/7 Government Resolution on the development of information security in central government
Description
On the basis of section 3(11) of the Government Regulations (262/2003), the Government has today decided on the principles for the development of information security in central government.
The decision-in-principle guides central government to develop information security as an important part of management, know-how, risk management and administrative development and operations. Sufficient resources for the development and maintenance of information security are a necessary prerequisite for operations, for its efficiency and for improving productivity. The decision-in-principle guides central government information security as a whole and its key interfaces with stakeholders and strengthens information security cooperation. It decides on the principles and priorities of development and outlines the key guidelines for the information security work of each authority.
