Historical geogegetic planshets from the Land Board’s Geodesy Archives.
An applied geodetic planchet is a plot of land on a specific scale that provides instant information about topographical phenomena in the desired area (roads, buildings, trees, structures, communications, etc.). Planchettes were one of the outputs of the result of applied geodetic works. Historical planches can be on a hard base, paper or film. In the vast majority, the archives of the Land Board’s geodesy come from the RAS REI Geodesy Fund and technical archives. The oldest applied geodetic planchets date back to the 1950s.
Planchettes are geo-referred and visible and can be downloaded in the map app of application geodetic planchettes.
Some planšettes are scanned and can be found through search for application geodetic works reports, where planches are part of the report.
