Representative survey of energy service providers on the development of the market for energy efficiency solutions and services, State of play: Surveys since 2021
Description
The Federal Office for Energy Efficiency (BfEE) surveys more than 1,000 suppliers of energy services in the fields of energy consulting, energy contracting and energy management as part of a nationwide representative survey. The survey forms the basis for assessing the development of the market for energy efficiency solutions and services from the point of view of suppliers. As part of the survey, respondents provide information about their company and the energy services offered (in particular type of products, prices). In addition, general assessments of market developments and barriers are asked. The survey of the providers is carried out in two stages. On the one hand, a telephone survey of companies takes place, on the other hand the largely identical questionnaire is programmed as an online questionnaire and sent to target companies in the field of energy consulting and energy audits. A standardised questionnaire is used. The available data is plausible and cleaned.
