Description

The Uusimaa plan 2050 is the name of the plan package, which includes the phase provincial plans for the Helsinki region, Itä-Uusimaa and Länsi-Uusimaa. The complex covers the entire territory of 26 municipalities of Uusimaa, with the exception of the Östersundom area, for which a separate regional plan has been drawn up. By decision of the Supreme Administrative Court of 13 March 2022, the plan entity became final. There were no changes to the Helsinki Region and Itä-Uusimaa plans in court proceedings. The West Uusimaa plan repealed the part of the planning regulation for the urban development zone, which steers regionally significant retail trade.
